Financial Trust for the construction and management of wind farms
These trusts aim to issue securities against the trust property to obtain financing for the acquisition of wind turbines, wind farm project management, and the subsequent sale of electric power to UTE (National Electric Company).
The financial trusts currently managed are:
Rural Electrification Financial Trust
Aims to obtain financing so that potential UTE clients located in rural areas can access the electric grid system. The Trust is established under the Regulation of Mixed Works for Rural Electrification. This is financed by issuing debt securities that will be repaid by the collection of promissory notes that result from the total credits formed by potential clients, within the established manner and conditions.
Financial Trust Closure of the 500Kv Transmission Ring (Tacurembó-Salto)
The purpose of this trust is to issue securities against the trust assets and thus obtain financing to carry out the development and construction of the 500 kV Salto Grande Uruguay-Chamberlain Line and accessory works for the subsequent lease to UTE.
