CERRO LARGO I FINANCIAL TRUST
The Municipality of Cerro Largo and República AFISA established the “CERRO LARGO I FINANCIAL TRUST”.
On January 31, 2023, the Municipality of Cerro Largo as Settlor and República AFISA as Trustee established a Private Offering trust called “FIDEICOMISO FINANCIERO CERRO LARGO I”.
The trust was established with the purpose of obtaining long-term financing for up to an amount of up to UI 112 million, for the payment of short-term liabilities, the acquisition of machinery and capital goods, and financing public works in the Department.
Republica AFISA will manage the financing through the placement of debt securities with the Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay, and with the funds obtained, it will make the payments corresponding to the purpose of the contract.
The support for the repayment of the financing is the assignment of part of the present and future credits that the Municipality has the right to receive from the SUCIVE Trust.
